Yasmin Vossoughian is a journalist. She is a correspondent for HLN.〔()〕 == Biography == Vossoughian was born in New York, the youngest daughter to Dr. Ahad Vossoughian and Shamsi Vossoughian, and attended Northfield Mount Herman School. At 16, Vossoughian was one of the youngest interns on Capitol Hill for former Congressman Benjamin Gilman. Vossoughian pursued undergraduate studies in History and Economics with a minor in theatre at Occidental College. After graduation Vossoughian worked at E!: Entertainment Television as a production assistant and as a producer for the Style Network. Vossoughian obtained her first on-air position at the German-based internet TV station DTV, then became a correspondent for Current TV. In 2006, she was awarded the CINE Golden Eagle Award for her work. Vossoughian also currently does Watch and Decide segments for AOL.
